IAF Online X/Y Group Recruitment 2020​​: Indian Air Force (IAF) has released a recruitment notification for filling up vacant posts of Airmen in Group “X” Trades (Except Education Instructor Trade) And Group “Y” Trades {Except Automobile Technician, Ground Training Instructor, Indian Air Force (Police), Indian Air Force (Security) And Musician Trades} for intake 01/2021. Eligible candidates can apply online from 02.01.2020 to 20.01.2020. Other details like educational qualification, age limit, selection process & how to apply are given below……..

Name of the Post: Airmen

Name of the Trade:

  • Group ‘X’ (Technical)
  • Group ‘Y’ (Non-Technical)

Age Limit: Born not earlier than 17.01.2000 and not later than 30.12.2003 (both dates inclusive).


Qualification: 

  • For Group ‘X’: Intermediate (10+2) Pass with with Mathematics, Physics and English with minimum 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English OR Three years Diploma Course in Engineering with 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English in diploma or in Intermediate/ Matriculation, if English is not subject in Diploma Course.
  • For Group ‘Y’ (Medical Assistant): Intermediate (10+2) Pass with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English.
  • For Group ‘Y’ (Other Trades): Intermediate (10+2) Pass  in any stream/ subjects with minimum 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English.

Fees: Rs. 250/- for All candidates.

Selection Process: Selection will be based on the performance in Physical Standards Test (PST), Physical Efficiency Test (PET), Written Examination and Medical Examination.

Pay Scale: As per Indian Air Force Rules.

How to Apply: Eligible and Interested candidates can apply online from 02.01.2020 to 20.01.2020 using link given below. The applicant need not to send any documents such as print out of online application.
