Sr. Research Fellow in PAU Ludhiana ,Salary @ 25000

Applications are invited on prescribed format for one post of Sr. Research Fellow @ 25000/- PM+ HRA (consolidated) provided in the project “Addressing Farmers’ Suicide issue through Capacity Building of Farming Families” ICAR-56 (PC-2399) for the period of six months or till the termination of the scheme whichever is earlier. The forms can be obtained on any working day from 9 am to 5 pm from the office of the undersigned.
Educational Qualifications:
  1. B.Sc/B.A. with minimum OGPA of 2.00/4.00 basis or OCPA of 5.00/10.00 basis or 50% marks.
  2. M.Sc/M.A. in Psychology/ Social Work/ Extension Education/Journalism and Mass Communication with a minimum OGPA of 3.40/4.00 or OCPA 6.50/10.00 or 65% marks.
Desirable: Candidate with master degree in Psychology will be preferred. Person who can travel and interact with farmers extensively in villages throughout Punjab with a spirit of volunteerism especially in the cotton belt will be preferred.
The last date for the receipt of applications with a Bank Draft of Rs. 200/- in favour of Comptroller, PAU, Ludhiana in this office duly completed in all respects is July 31, 2018. Incomplete applications or unsupported by the requisite documents will not be entertained. The candidate should appear for interview on August 6, 2018 at 10.00 a.m. in the office of the undersigned. No separate intimation for interview will be sent. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.
The amount of first full month of fellowship payable to the Sr. Research Fellow will be kept as security with the Head, Department of Agril. Journalism, Languages and Culture and it will be paid to him/her as and when he/she leaves the fellowship after giving the requisite one month’s notice or deposits the amount of one month’s fellowship. The Sr. Research Fellow resigning the fellowship shall have to give one month notice or have to deposit one month salary in lieu of one month notice. However, this will not hold good in respect of other assignments in the PAU
