Age Limit: Applicants Upper age limit should not be more than 40 years for Post(1,2), 38 years for Post(3 to 16), 21 – 28 years for Post(17), 18 – 23 years for Post(18,19,23 to 39,41 to 51), 18 – 25 years for Post(20 to 22,40) as on 01-01-2017. There is age relaxation for reserved categories persons as per the govt rules.

Educational Qualification: Candidates should have completed 10th, 12th, Diploma, Graduation Degree or its equivalent qualification from a recognized Board/University or institutions. For Posts Wise Qualifications & Other eligibility criteria details refer official notification.

Selection Process: Candidates will be selected on the basis of performance in the Written Examination, Trade Test, Physical Standard Test (PST), Physical Efficiency Test (PET) followed by Medical Test conducted by Assam Rifles.
